Anonymous Content has a lot to look forward to at this year’s 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. MR. ROBOT, an Anonymous Content production by Writer/Director Sam Esmail is up for top honors at this year’s awards. The break-through series marked its first year of Emmy eligibility with six nominations, including Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Lead Actor, Outstanding Casting, Outstanding Music Composition, and Outstanding Sound Mixing in a Drama Series, as well as the overall recognition of Outstanding Drama Series.
Sharing in the Emmys praise is another Anonymous Content production, The Knick. Following up last year’s win of Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period Program, The Knick, directed by Steven Soderbergh, holds four nominations for this year’s Emmys, including Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Hairstyling, Outstanding Makeup, and another for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period Program.
Also included in this year’s Emmy Awards is Beyoncé’s highly-buzzed-about album, Lemonade with four nominations. The visual album features the directorial works of Anonymous Content’s Mark Romanek for “Sandcastles”, as well as Serial Pictures’ Jonas Akerlund for “Hold Up”, and the underwater sequence, “Denial”.
Additional congratulations to all of our clients who have been nominated for a collective nine Emmys this year, both on-camera and off.
