Anonymous Content went big at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival, winning six gold Lion awards. Between Anonymous Content and our partner companies, Somesuch and Iconoclast, our team was recognized with over thirty wins and shortlists honors.
AT&T “Close to Home,” an anti-texting film for the brand’s “It Can Wait” movement, directed by Frédéric Planchon, won gold for direction. Five gold Lions, including one for direction, went to the Somesuch/Anonymous Content brand film, “The Piccards” for Hennesy, directed by Danile Wolfe. Mark Romanek’s Nike Mamba Day tribute “The Conductor,” featuring Kobe Bryant, received the bronze for the clothing/footwear category. Other award highlights include golds for Frederic Planchon’s SSE Piers, gold and bronze awards for Volvo “Look Who’s Driving Now” directed by Megaforce, and silver for Kim Gehrig’s John Lewis ad, “Man on the Moon.”
