The Anonymous Content produced series, Schitt$ Creek, is seeing major success on all fronts these days.
Starring and created by Eugene and Dan Levy, Schitt$ Creek boasted a clean sweep at this year’s Canadian Screen Awards. The show had 15 nominations in 9 categories and took them all, including Best Comedy Series, Best Actor in a Comedic Series for Eugene Levy, and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedic Series for Chris Elliott. The fish-out-of-water series, which also features Catherine O’Hara, Chris Elliott, Jennifer Robertson and more, garnered more gold at the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television’s gala than any other show. In addition, Best Actor winner, Eugene, and Best Actress winner, Catherine, recently received Legacy Awards from the Academy during the Evening With Canada’s Stars celebration in Los Angeles.
Furthermore, the series has been picked up for season 3, by Canada’s CBC network for a premiere of winter 2017. The show was also renewed for a third season in the US, by Pop, which will first air Season 2 on March 16.
