Epix’s first original drama series, “The Berlin Station,” is returning for Season 2 on October 15. Season 2 opens in the thick of a New World Order that has taken root and is steadily deepening. In the wake of the Far Right tide sweeping across continental Europe, Germany finds itself on the precipice of a pivotal election. Ashley Judd joins the sophomore season as BB Yates, the new head of the Berlin Station, along with Keke Palmer, who plays a young case officer assigned on her first field mission.
Richard Armitage, Rhys Ifans, Richard Jenkins, Leland Orser and Michelle Forbes also star in the drama created and executive produced by Olen Steinhauer and produced by Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Bradford Winters serves as executive producer and showrunner. Academy Award winner Eric Roth, along with Steve Golin, Kerry Kohansky-Roberts, Keith Redmon and Luke Rivett from Anonymous Content also executive produce.
Showrunner/EP Bradford Winters said at TCA in July that “the idea behind the second season is the station taking power into its own hands, having been the subject of forces beyond its control. It’s very much a flipping of the table.”
